Drum Screen
How it’s used
The chief function of the drum screener is to remove streamers from plastic pellets during manufacturing and processing. What does this mean for you? It means you can avoid the problems and setbacks that are often caused by streamers and birds nests.
How it works
The way the drum screener works is simple: Plastic pellets pass through a mesh-type screener, and the streamers are left behind. It’s a simple filtration process. Streamers are then taken back to the streamer discharge by the rotation of the drum and the gas flow located on the screener.
